The Process
The Principles

The weight of the Project's success rests upon three corner stones; Confidentiality, Commitment and Contribution.

Confidentiality
It is of paramount importance that you can discuss issues freely without fear that anything will be repeated outside the Project. The only exception to this rule is by unanimous decision on a specific issue that requires outside input.

Commitment
By definition The Emerson Project invitees are very busy people in important roles with pressing professional engagements. However, for the Project to be successful it is imperative that priority be given to attendance, punctuality, and respectfulness to the integrity of the group.

Contribution
There is an obligation to engage with the group with vigour and an open mind and where the interests of all concerned is essential. To give and share ideas, comments and strategy without regard to ‘repayment’.

The Tenets of the Project

Shared Vision, Purpose and Governing processes that guide the group’s decorum, decisions and operating procedures

Diversity amongst members to ensure a multitude of experience, knowledge and disparate thinking

Organized agendas that maximize benefit to members and positively direct outcomes

Continuity to foster a consolidation of group adhesion over an extended time period

Concern for the growth and wellbeing of all members in a collegial environment at all times

Project Objectives

To create a group of individuals that:

  • exceed their aspirations
  • massively and positively impact on their business
  • begin, maintain and sustain a pattern of growth and rejuvenation
